Rapid Point-of-Care COVID Test
Bulk Point-of-care COVID tests are critical in settings where large quantities of people must undergo testing in a short amount of time. The Celltrion DiaTrust COVID-19 Ag Rapid Test uses lateral flow methodology to qualitatively detect RBDs (receptor binding domains) from COVID-19 in test samples. Celltrion DiaTrust provides 25 rapid COVID tests per box and does require a prescription. This U.S. Military recommended POC COVID test offers quick results in 15 minutes with a specificity of 99.03 percent and a sensitivity measure of 93.33 percent. To conduct the test, a medical professional must take a nasopharyngeal swab sample and test it using in vitro diagnostic tools.
